JANUARY 16 - MEMPHIS

DAVID E. GORDON is a sole practitioner in Memphis, Tennessee, where he is a board certified civil trial specialist by the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization. His areas of practice include auto accidents and workers' compensation. Mr. Gordon has previously lectured on various aspects of trial techniques. He has previously written on various aspects of trial techniques. Mr. Gordon earned his B.A. degree from Tufts University and his J.D. degree from Vanderbilt University. He is a member of the Memphis Bar Association and the American Association for Justice.

STEPHEN R. LEFFLER is president of the Law Office of Stephen R. Leffler, P.C., in Memphis. He has practiced law in the state and federal courts of western Tennessee for more than 20 years. Mr. Leffler is a frequent CLE lecturer on issues of criminal law, civil trial practice and wrongful death. His practice is in the areas of criminal law, personal injury, wrongful death, misdemeanors and felonies. Mr. Leffler is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the Memphis and Tennessee bar associations, the Tennessee and American Trial Lawyers associations and the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He earned his B.A. degree from the Centre College of Kentucky and his J.D. degree from Memphis State University.

ANDRE C. WHARTON is an associate attorney with The Wharton Firm, located in Memphis, Tennessee. At The Wharton Firm, he maintains a general practice, counseling and litigating for clients in the areas of civil and criminal litigation as well as business affairs. Mr. Wharton has also wrote two comprehensive manuscripts concerning issues and tactics involving nursing home litigation. He earned his B.S. degree in Marketing with honors, from Hampton University and his J.D. degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Mr. Wharton is an active member of the Memphis Bar Association and the National Bar Association as well as the NAACP. He is licensed to practice law in both Tennessee and North Carolina courts.

 

JANUARY 17 - NASHVILLE

PHILLIP L. DAVIDSON is a sole practitioner in Nashville. He has focused his practice on criminal law, civil rights law and personal injury law since 1979. Mr. Davidson was a professor at Belmont University where he taught criminal law and constitutional law. He also has served as an adjunct professor at Middle Tennessee State University and Cumberland University. Mr. Davidson earned his B.S. degree from Middle Tennessee State University, his J.D. degree from Nashville School of Law and his Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University. He is a member of the Tennessee and Nashville bar associations and the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association.

BLAIR DURHAM is an attorney that works part time with the Law Office of Bart Durham and part time with his new firm, Durham & Dread, PLC. His main areas of practice are medical malpractice and personal injury. Mr. Durham received his undergraduate education degree at Belmont University in Nashville and his law degree from Pepperdine School of Law in Malibu, California. He has completed the Harvard Law School's Basic and Advanced Negotiation Workshops, the University of Virginia Trial Advocacy Institute and the Trial Skills Workshop of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. Mr. Durham is licensed to practice in California and Tennessee and he is a member of the Nashville Bar Association, the Tennessee State Bar Association, the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association and the American Trial Lawyers Association.

J. BRYAN MOSELEY is a partner in the Nashville law firm of Moseley & Moseley where his main areas of practice are civil litigation, premises liability and consumer protection.
